Faith Swipes is a Bible verse application available on iOS and Android. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in plain, straightforward language. By downloading or using Faith Swipes on any platform, you agree to this policy.

1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect

2.1 What We Do NOT Collect

Faith Swipes does not collect, store, or transmit:

• Your name, email address, or any account credentials
• Location data or GPS coordinates
• Device identifiers, advertising IDs (IDFA, GAID), or fingerprinting data
• Usage analytics, behavioural tracking, or session recordings
• Which verses you read, save, or share
• Any biometric or sensitive personal data

2.2 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The app stores two small pieces of data locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to us or any third party:

• Whether you have completed onboarding (a true/false flag)
• Your selected language preference (e.g. “en”, “es”, “de”)

On iOS this is stored in UserDefaults. On Android this is stored in SharedPreferences. Both are deleted automatically when you uninstall the app.

2.3 Subscription & Purchase Data

Faith Swipes offers auto-renewing subscriptions (3-month, 6-month, and annual plans) that unlock the full verse library. Subscription billing is handled entirely by the platform on which you purchased:

• iOS: Apple App Store (StoreKit). Apple processes all payments and provides us only with an anonymous receipt token to verify whether your subscription is active.
• Android: Google Play Billing. Google processes all payments and provides us only with an anonymous purchase token to verify subscription status.

We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment card details, billing address, Apple ID, or Google account information at any point.

3. How We Use Information

Because we collect virtually no personal data, our use is minimal and specific:

• The anonymous subscription receipt or purchase token is verified with Apple or Google to determine whether to display premium content.
• Your language preference is read from local storage to load the correct Bible verse set on launch.

We do not sell, rent, share, or monetise any user data in any form, on any platform.

4. Subscriptions

4.1 Plans

Faith Swipes Premium is available as an auto-renewing subscription in the following options:

• 3-Month Plan
• 6-Month Plan
• Annual Plan

All plans unlock the complete verse library across the language or languages supported by your app version.

4.2 Billing & Renewal

Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID or Google account is charged upon purchase confirmation and at the start of each renewal period.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

• iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
• Android: Google Play → Subscriptions

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain premium access until then. We do not offer refunds for partially used billing periods except where required by law.

4.4 Refunds

All refund requests are handled by the platform through which you purchased:

We have no ability to process refunds directly.

5. Third-Party Services

Faith Swipes does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs on either platform. The only external dependencies are:

• Apple App Store & StoreKit (iOS) — subscription management
• Google Play Billing (Android) — subscription management
• Firebase (backend infrastructure, if applicable) — used solely for subscription verification, with no personal data stored

6. Children’s Privacy

Faith Swipes is suitable for all ages and is designed to be appropriate for children. Because we collect no personal information from any user, there is no heightened risk to younger users. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the applicable age threshold in your jurisdiction).

7. Data Security

Because we do not store personal data on external servers, the security risk associated with Faith Swipes is minimal. The local preferences stored on your device are protected by the operating system’s standard app sandboxing and device encryption on both iOS and Android.

Subscription tokens exchanged with Apple and Google are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections managed by those platforms.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

All data stored by Faith Swipes lives exclusively on your device:

• Onboarding status and language preference are deleted when you uninstall the app on either platform.
• There is no user account and no server-side user data associated with your identity.

To reset your in-app preferences without uninstalling, clear the app’s data via your device settings (iOS: Settings → Faith Swipes; Android: Settings → Apps → Faith Swipes → Storage → Clear Data).

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws including:

• GDPR (European Economic Area & UK) — right to access, rectify, erase, or port your data; right to object to processing
• CCPA (California, USA) — right to know what data is collected, right to delete, right to opt out of sale
• POPIA (South Africa) — right to access and correct personal information
• Other applicable national or regional laws

Because we collect no personal data beyond what Apple and Google process on our behalf, most of these rights are exercised directly with those platforms. For any privacy concern specific to Faith Swipes, contact us at audriezworld0@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this document. For significant changes, we will also include a note in the App Store and Google Play update release notes.

Continued use of Faith Swipes after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
